Catholic Charities is the largest provider of human services in the San Francisco Bay Area, offering after-school programs and serving refugees, immigrants, the elderly, the homeless and HIV victims. Working mainly behind the scenes, very few people know what they do or even that they exist. And though they receive just 1% of their funding from the Catholic Church, there are many misconceptions about the organization because of their name. This brand refresh and advertising campaign helped reposition them and raise awareness about the type of work they do.
